Abstract

No cenário atual, onde a internet se tornou parte integrante da vida de crianças e adolescentes, a mediação parental assume um papel crucial na garantia de sua segurança online. Com o objetivo de auxiliar pais e responsáveis nessa jornada, desenvolveu-se um site informativo que aborda a mediação parental no uso da internet. O site oferece recursos abrangentes, incluindo orientações sobre segurança online, ferramentas de controle parental e informações sobre os riscos digitais, visando criar um ambiente virtual mais seguro e saudável para os jovens. Embasado na teoria sociocultural de Vygotsky e em pesquisas sobre diferentes formas de mediação parental, o projeto explora o impacto das tecnologias da informação e comunicação na sociedade e os desafios enfrentados por crianças e adolescentes no mundo digital. A necessidade de proteger os jovens é enfatizada, destacando os impactos negativos do uso excessivo da internet e a importância do diálogo e da confiança na relação entre pais e filhos. A metodologia empregada envolve uma pesquisa voltada para o desenvolvimento de um produto tecnológico, de natureza explicativa e fundamentada no método hipotético-dedutivo, combinando pesquisa bibliográfica e aplicada. Como resultado, o site busca capacitar pais e responsáveis, fornecendo-lhes as ferramentas e o conhecimento necessários para orientar seus filhos de forma eficaz no uso da internet, construindo um ambiente online mais seguro e propício ao desenvolvimento saudável dos jovens.

In the current scenario, where the internet has become an integral part of the lives of children and adolescents, parental mediation assumes a crucial role in ensuring their online safety. With the objective of assisting parents and guardians in this journey, this project developed an informative website that addresses parental mediation in the use of the internet. The website offers comprehensive resources, including guidelines on online safety, parental control tools, and information about digital risks, aiming to create a safer and healthier virtual environment for young people. Based on Vygotsky's sociocultural theory and research on different forms of parental mediation, the project explores the impact of information and communication technologies on society and the challenges faced by children and adolescents in the digital world. The need to protect young people is emphasized, highlighting the negative impacts of excessive internet use and the importance of dialogue and trust in the relationship between parents and children. The methodology employed involves research aimed at the development of a technological product, of an explanatory nature and based on the hypothetico-deductive method, combining bibliographic and applied research. In summary, the project seeks to empower parents and 2 guardians, providing them with the tools and knowledge necessary to effectively guide their children in the use of the internet, building a safer online environment that is conducive to the healthy development of young people.
