Este artigo é fruto de um trabalho que teve como objetivo analisar a importância da logística reversa no descarte de pilhas e baterias, esse tema nos proporciona o conhecimento do descarte correto desses produtos, que vem causando problemas sérios ambientais, pelo alto consumo e o descarte incorreto, pelo fato de possuírem substâncias altamente poluentes na natureza colocando em risco os ecossistemas e a saúde humana. O estudo então trás os conceitos de pilhas e baterias, e também uma solução que pode resolver o problema do descarte incorreto, que é a logística reversa que tem como seu principal foco incentivar as pessoas a fazer um consumo consciente e a diminuir o descarte.
