Tecnologias na educação infantil: caminhos e possibilidades

Abstract

O presente artigo propõe discutir e refletir sobre o uso das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDIC) no contexto da educação infantil, partindo da questão “tecnologias na educação infantil é possível?”. Para tanto, retoma e aborda estudos e reflexões que oportunizam desvelar caminhos e possibilidades ao desenvolvimento do currículo para a primeira infância. Toma como método a abordagem qualitativa, com aportes na pesquisa teórica. Para tanto, a produção lança mão da literatura especializada da educação nas áreas do currículo, das tecnologias digitais, e da educação infantil, além de documentos institucionais do Ministério da Educação do Brasil como a Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), e o Currículo da Cidade, uma publicação da Secretaria Municipal da Educação de São Paulo, enquanto referenciais que embasam e fundamentam as análises e reflexões encetadas no texto. São abordadas duas experiências exitosas com uso das TDIC no contexto da educação infantil, a primeira, um projeto denominado Rádio Jacaré FM que foi desenvolvido na capital paulistana por uma professora de educação infantil e sua turma de alunos, e a segunda, uma experiência internacional com a política pública Plan Ceibal desenvolvida na República Oriental do Uruguai. A reflexão encetada neste texto permitiu enxergar caminhos e possibilidades ao desenvolvimento do currículo da educação infantil com uso das TDIC, descortinando oportunidades que podem contribuir com a aprendizagem das crianças pequenas.

This article aims at discussing and reflecting on the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) in the context of early childhood education, starting from the following question “Are technologies in early childhood education possible?”. To this end, it resumes and approaches studies and reflections that make it possible to unveil possibilities for the development of the curriculum in early childhood. It takes the qualitative approach as a method, with contributions in a theoretical survey. Throughout the text, ideas and provocations emerge that reflect on ways of thinking, proposing and developing a curriculum for early childhood using digital Technologies, considering the current human context, increasingly in a digital and connected world. To this end, the article makes use of specialized literature on education in the areas of curriculum, digital technologies, and early childhood education, in addition to institutional documents from the Ministry of Education in Brazil as the National Common Curricular Base (NCCB), and the Curriculum of the City, a publication by São Paulo City, as references that support the analyzes and reflections in the text. There are two successful experiences with the use of DICT on the context of early childhood education, the first one is a Project called Rádio Jacaré FM that wasdeveloped in São Paulo City by a teacher of early childhood education and her class of students, and the second experience is the public policy Plan Ceibal developed in Oriental Republic of Uruguay. The reflection initiated in this text allowed to see ways and possibilities for the development of the early childhood education curriculum using DICT, opportunities that can contribute to the learning process of young children.
