Uma análise bibliométrica sobre a transformação digital em hospitais

Abstract

O presente trabalho visa contribuir com a discussão referente a transformação digital em hospitais. Este já era um tema estudado até o final de 2019, mas com a pandemia do novo coronavírus o mundo como um todo foi empurrado nessa direção. Empresas e pessoas tiveram que se adequar a uma nova realidade que se impunha. Então, foi feita essa pesquisa para entender como está a produção científica nessa área usando a base livre da do CAPES com dados de 2016 a 24 de setembro de 2021. O estudo bibliométrico buscou entender onde se concentram os esforços para produzir conhecimento, quem está fazendo isso, seu perfil, se há espaço para mais estudo, etc. Nesta busca foram encontrados 134 artigos, porém destes somente 32 faziam menção sobre a transformação digital no hospital. A análise dos artigos demonstra que o tema transformação digital não é o tema principal de muitos artigos. Ele aparece sempre ser acessório de outro tema tomado como principal. Isso indica que não há muitos estudos sobre os desafios e impactos na transformação digital de um hospital, demonstrando que há um campo amplo a ser explorado ainda mais em relação aos desafios que se tem para tornar um hospital verdadeiramente digital.

The present work aims to contribute to the discussion regarding the digital transformation in hospitals. This was already a topic studied until the end of 2019, but with the new coronavirus pandemic, the entire world was pushed in this direction. Companies and people had to adapt to a new reality that was imposed. So, this research was carried out to understand how the scientific production in this area is, using the CAPES free base with data from 2016 to September 24, 2021. The bibliometric study sought to understand where efforts to produce knowledge are concentrated, who is doing it, their profile, whether there is space for further study, etc. In this search, 134 articles were found, but of these, only 32 mentioned the digital transformation in the hospital. The analysis of the articles demonstrates that the topic of digital transformation is not the main theme of many articles. It always appears to be an accessory to another theme taken as its main theme. This indicates that there are not many studies on the challenges and impacts in the digital transformation of a hospital, demonstrating that there is a broad field to be explored even further in relation to the challenges that one must make a hospital truly digital.
