Abstract

Este artigo busca estabelecer a interligação entre o passado e o futuro e a forma em que o primeiro contribui e influencia a construção do último, portanto tomando como base a Idade Média, foram aplicados os ideais futuristas previstos no Manifesto Futurista (Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, 1909) e no Manifesto Futurista da Moda Feminina (Volt, 1920). A partir disso foi desenvolvida uma pesquisa visando levantar os principais pontos a serem trabalhados na coleção, como a reinterpretação de roupas e estéticas passadas em um ambiente futurista e utópico, peças que se moldam ao corpo ativo e integram o ambiente urbano, assim como tendências relevantes ao trabalho. O resultado prevê a criação de uma estética própria a partir da junção de duas estéticas marcantes na moda, visando a inovação e a autenticidade.

This article aims to establish the connection between the past and the future and how the former contributes and influences the construction of the later. Using the Middle Ages as the foundation, futurist ideals outlined in the Manifesto of Futurism (Filippo Tommaso Marinetti, 1909) and on Futurist Manifesto of Woman’s Fashion (Volt, 1920) were applied. Building on that, a research was conducted to identify the main elements to be developed in the collection, such as the reinterpretation of past clothing and aesthetics within a futuristic and utopian enviroment, garments that adapt to the active body and integrate the urban enviroment, as well as relevent fashion trends. The result envisions the creation of a unique aesthetic, emerging from the union of two remarkable fashion aesthetics, looking for innovation and authenticity.
