Abstract

Este trabalho aborda a influência do Surrealismo na moda, propondo uma reflexão contínua sobre a analogia entre elementos naturais e o corpo feminino. A inspiração central reside na artista Dorothea Tanning, cujas obras exploravam temas como juventude, transformação e envelhecimento. Nesse contexto, os elementos florais passam a representar as diferentes fases da vida da mulher, simbolizando beleza, força e renovação. Partindo dessa premissa, o objetivo principal estabelece-se na análise de como o Surrealismo e a simbologia floral se manifestam no design. A abordagem metodológica, por sua vez, se concretiza no desenvolvimento da coleção primavera/verão "Flores ao Tempo", destinada a mulheres de 30 a 60 anos. A coleção apresenta uma silhueta mais estruturada e retilínea, criando um contraste com peças volumosas e transpassadas. Utilizam-se formas e texturas diversas, destacando-se a aplicação de flores tridimensionais que infundem vida e movimento ao vestuário. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam a integração de referências estéticas, como o conceito de "Clássicos Enriquecidos", valorizando a elegância atemporal e a manipulação sofisticada de tecidos. Além disso, verifica-se a convergência com o Norm Core e a simbologia do Jardim do Éden, projetando o floral tridimensional como uma forte tendência para o Verão 26. Conclui-se, assim, que o repertório surrealista, unido à efemeridade da flor, oferece uma linguagem visual potente para traduzir a complexidade de transformação do feminino na moda contemporânea.

This paper addresses the influence of Surrealism on fashion, proposing a continuous reflection on the analogy between natural elements and the female body. The central inspiration resides in the artist Dorothea Tanning, whose works explored themes such as youth, transformation, and aging; in this context, floral elements come to represent the different phases of a woman's life, symbolizing beauty, strength, and renewal. Based on this premise, the main objective is established in the analysis of how Surrealism and floral symbolism manifest in design. The methodological approach, in turn, materialized in the development of the Spring/Summer collection "Flores ao Tempo" (Flowers to Time), intended for women between 30 and 60 years old. The collection features a more structured and rectilinear silhouette, contrasting with voluminous and cross-over pieces. Diverse shapes and textures are utilized, highlighting the application of three-dimensional flowers which infuse life and movement into the garments. The results obtained demonstrate the integration of aesthetic references, such as the concept of "Enriched Classics," which values timeless elegance and sophisticated fabric manipulation. Furthermore, a convergence with Norm Core and the symbolism of the Garden of Eden is verified, projecting the three-dimensional floral as a strong trend for Summer '26. It is thus concluded that the Surrealist repertoire, combined with the ephemerality of the flower, offers a potent visual language to translate the complexity and cycles of feminine transformation in contemporary fashion.
