Abstract

Esse trabalho visa apresentar nos próximos capítulos, a realidade da criminalidade através da maior rede mundial de computadores - a Internet - que vem sendo considerada o maior meio democrático, em que as pessoas expressam livremente suas idéias e opiniões. Também é uma nova de estratégia para as empresas gerarem lucro e expandir seus negócios, por meio do comércio eletrônico, assim como entretenimento e conhecimento. E sendo assim, com todos esses benefícios, o crescimento assustador de crimes cibernéticos, vem deixando governos, autoridades e a sociedade mundial apreensivos frente aos diversos problemas que isso vem causando nos últimos tempos.

This monograph intends to present, in the next chapters, the reality of the criminality through the world wide web (www) - the Internet - which has been considered the biggest democratic media for expressing new ideas and opinions. It is also a new form of strategy to industries earn and develop its business, by means of the electronic commerce. Moreover, it also brings entertainment and knowledge to everyone around the world. But despite all these benefits, the increase of the cybercrimes has been threatening the security and tranquility of governments, authorities and our society.
