| Abstract: | Recém-nascidos prematuros e de baixo peso têm mais chances de recuperação e de uma vida mais saudável quando têm acesso ao leite humano. O Banco de leite tem como finalidade levar leite para bebês prematuros ou de baixo peso, ou que de alguma forma não pode ser alimentado pela sua própria mãe. Também engloba ações de coleta de leite, bem como todo seu processamento até a distribuição desse leite, além disso o Banco de Leite Humano é responsável por ações de promoção, proteção e apoio ao aleitamento materno. Por ser um tema de suma importância para população feminina, observamos que grande parte das mulheres sofre com a falta de informação sobre o risco da amamentação cruzada e o processo de doação de leite humano. Objetivo: Compartilhar o conhecimento sobre o Banco de leite humano (BLH) para as mulheres da região de Tupã. Desenvolvimento: Inicialmente, foi realizada a visita técnica ao banco de leite de Tupã e uma entrevista com a nutricionista responsável pela unidade. Após a visita, foi aplicada uma pesquisa de campo através do Google forms com questões de múltipla escolha para compreender o conhecimento das mulheres em relação a doação de leite e o banco de leite, onde foi possível identificar que apesar da maioria das entrevistadas relatarem saber sobre a doação de leite, apenas 41,6% das mulheres entrevistadas legam não conhecer mulheres doadoras de leite humano. Com base nos resultados obtidos na pesquisa, foi construída uma maquete com materiais de baixo custo com o intuito de demonstrar a estrutura física e funcionalidade do banco de leite contendo sala de espera onde as mães aguardam para a entrega do leite já coletado, sala de armazenamento que é destinada ao acondicionamento do leite após sua pasteurização, ficando refrigerados nessa sala até serem doados, sala de processamento onde ocorre a pasteurização do leite. Consideração Finais: Através deste trabalho viemos divulgar informações sobre a importância do banco de leite humano demostrando como funciona cada etapa desde a doação até a distribuição do leite. Esperamos que este trabalho possa contribuir para o aumento da doação de leite humano, e consequentemente contribuindo com a sobrevida dos recém-nascidos, fornecendo benefícios e nutrientes que este bebê precisa através do leite. : |
| Description: | Premature and low birth weight newborns have a better chance of recovery and a healthier life when they have access to human milk. The purpose of the Milk Bank is to provide milk to premature or low weight babies, or those who in some way cannot be fed by their own mother. It also encompasses milk collection actions, as well as all its processing until the distribution of this milk. In addition, the Human Milk Bank is responsible for actions to promote, protect and support breastfeeding. As it is a topic of utmost importance for the female population, we observed that a large number of women suffer from a lack of information about the risk of cross-breastfeeding and the process of donating human milk. Objective: Share knowledge about the Human Milk Bank (HMB) for women in the Tupã region. Development: Initially, a technical visit to the Tupã milk bank and an interview with the nutritionist responsible for the unit were carried out. After the visit, a field survey was carried out using Google forms with multiple choice questions to understand women's knowledge regarding milk donation and the milk bank, where it was possible to identify that although the majority of interviewees reported knowing about the donation of milk, only 41.6% of the women interviewed claim that they do not know women who are human milk donors. Based on the results obtained in the research, a model was built with low-cost materials in order to demonstrate the physical structure and functionality of the milk bank containing a waiting room where mothers wait for the delivery of already collected milk, a storage room which is intended for packaging the milk after its pasteurization, remaining refrigerated in this room until they are donated, the processing room where the milk pasteurization takes place. Final Considerations: Through this work we came to disseminate information about the importance of the human milk bank, demonstrating how each stage works from donation to milk distribution. We hope that this work can contribute to increasing the donation of human milk, and consequently contributing to the survival of newborns, providing benefits and nutrients that this baby needs through milk. |
